I want to watch this movie! Though it will probably Never come to theatres in Singapore.
I can’t help finding the Vogels(the titular Herb & Dorothy) unbelievably cool with their tiny house packed to the brim with art. Their hoarding urges resonate with my inner packrat’s. I want a small house full of things I love too. (though perhaps not quite that packed)
If you watch the trailers, even in those few short clips, you can see the intensity and passion they have for art when they look at pieces. Amazing. The story of how they built up their collection, estimated to be worth millions is also amazing. They undoubtedly have some strong eye power.
It is also pretty awesome that they are still actively collecting pieces… maybe the only reason they parted with their art was so that they could buy more? Well I empathise.
Also I think Dorothy has the cutest glasses!
